YVES CLERC (1947-)
Yves Clerc is a french contemporary artist who was born on 5 November 1947.
It was through photography that he made his first steps into the world of the image.
From 1967 to 1980.
He pursued his medical and scientific studies in a Paris university concomitantly with his artistic studies at the school of applied arts in Paris, where he specialized in drawing. His first illustrations appeared in the medical publishing industry.
He participated actively at the Festival du Théâtre of Nancy, which determined in large measure his thematic of representation.
He published his drawings while living and working in Paris. He began painting and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Paris, Antwerp, Pisa, Bordeaux, Nice, Saint Petersburg, Santander?
In 1990, he formed a liaison with the Galerie Charles Bailly, with whom he continued working regularly in France, in Europe, and in the United States. 1990-2007
He has been living and working in Paris, and sometimes in Mexico, with regular travels to the United States.
