Fifty works on paper . Vol.II

Abundant, versatile and portable, the paper medium offers a glimpse at the immediacy of creation and artistic freedom. As Signac used to approach compositions on paper to break with the impressionist credo of working outside, lots of artists used it to explore its diverse features through different styles and techniques throughout art history. From the sensuality of a nude to the dynamic lines of abstraction, works on paper enhanced the creative process of artists, transcending the paper to create their own unique features. Fifty Works on Paper Vol. II presents thrilling examples of ways modern and post war artists embraced this multifaceted medium.
